Overview

The Sport & Fitness Leadership Certificate is designed for students outside of the Sport & Fitness Leadership Major who would like to develop the necessary knowledge and skills to be effective within a sport, recreation, and/or fitness context. The certificate will also help students begin the coursework designed to meet standards for professional certification by the Association of Church Sports and Recreation Ministries (CSRM).

Graduates may pursue a variety of career paths in various community, church, and parachurch settings, including sport and recreation ministries and missionaries, coaches, fitness specialists, athletic administrators, and strength and conditioning specialists.
