Day in the Life

7:00 am: Devotional in my room

8:00 am: First class of the day, Psalms with "Jody O" aka Dr. Owens in the Phillips-Welshimer Building

9:30 am: Learning Greek in my second class of the day

11:00 am: Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 11 is chapel. Sometimes we have worship and speakers, other times it’s communion or practicing a spiritual discipline.

12:00 pm: Meet up with my friends in the Galley for lunch

1:00 pm: Preaching Class in the Russell Preaching Center

2:30 pm: Time to work! Johnson University offers work-study student positions during the semester and I took advantage!

5:00 pm: Dinner time at the Galley

6:00 pm: The Graham Center has a game room, Habanero's, and tons of hangout spots for students. My choice today? The work out room!

7:30 pm: Second dinner at Habanero's in the Graham Center. What can I say? I like tacos...

10:00 pm: Catching up from homework before snoozing.

11:00 pm: Snoozing...

and five women’s sports in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and Appalachian Athletics Conference (AAC).

But you don’t have to be on an official team to play ball! Many of our students participate in intramurals – everything from softball to corn hole and disc golf.

You can also take classes in Barre, Pound Fit, water aerobics, and more, or join a group to hike in the Smokies.
