At Johnson University our mission is to educate students for Christian ministries and other strategic vocations framed by the Great Commission in order to extend the kingdom of God among all nations.

Our

Locations

Tennessee

Our Tennessee campus sits on the banks of the French Broad River in south Knoxville. Students enjoy the rolling hills of this rural campus combined with close proximity to the fun and culture of downtown Knoxville and the beauty of the Smoky Mountains.

Florida

Our Florida campus is just minutes from some of the country’s biggest attractions, including Disney World, Universal Studios, and downtown Orlando. Students also love roadtripping to the beach – JUFL is just an hour from both Florida coasts.

Our

History

Johnson University was founded in 1893 by Ashley and Emma Johnson, who served as the school’s first two presidents. From the beginning the University has been marked by strong leadership, a clear mission, and a focus on affordability.
