How does the Tennessee Transfer Pathway work?

If you complete an associate degree from any Tennessee community college, Johnson University is the perfect place for you to continue your education without a high sticker price!

The Tennessee Transfer Pathways program provides a way for you to jump into the Johnson community halfway through your college career without needing to redo any of the work from your associate degree.

Transfer your associate degree into a bachelor’s degree!

If you complete all of the community college courses listed for a particular Transfer Pathway, you will earn an A.A. or A.S. degree at the community college. When you transfer to Johnson, the transcript will certify that all 60 credits from your A.A. or A.S. will be accepted at Johnson University and will count toward completion of your general education and major requirements.

(By the way, Johnson also offers a variety of associate degrees. Use your Tennessee Promise dollars to start your education at Johnson and be part of our community for all four years!)
