Program Overview

The Associate of Arts in History cultivates a critical understanding of the human past and develops skills of historical research, analysis, and communication that enable students to engage the world in which they serve in a thoughtful, positive, and creative manner. Courses in the program introduces skills for research, analysis, and communication that prepare students for further studies toward a four-year bachelor’s degree and that help students to engage the world in which they serve in thoughtful, constructive, and creative ways.
