FAQs

Who exactly is this for?
The SLC is geared for high school youth group student leaders to attend together with an adult youth worker (or youth workers) from their church. The goal is to encourage, equip, and unify a group of high school students attending together with their church.

Can a high school student attend on their own?
Technically, the answer is yes. However, this conference is best experienced as part of a group from a given church. Even just two or three attending together would be beneficial.

Is lodging provided?
Lodging is not being provided by Johnson University. Groups are free to explore their own housing options. There are plenty of good deals for cabins and Airbnbs this time of year fairly close to campus. There are also several hotels near campus.

What about adult youth workers?
Adult youth workers are encouraged to attend with their students. They should register at the $25 rate as well.

Are meals provided?
During the conference, lunch and dinner on Saturday are provided as a part of the registration fee. Your group can decide how to handle other meals.
