Amount/Description:
The following scholarships are awarded during the spring semester by the Counseling Department. The scholarships are annual awards that start in the fall. All awards require the student to maintain full-time enrollment status (at least 9 credits per term).• Program Scholarship: $1,500 per year. Criteria considered for the Program Scholarship include:
• Academic (GPA, MAT/GRE scores, previous academic performance in GCP)
• Contribution to diversity (enhancement of diversity within the GCP, including but not limited to race, gender, socioeconomic, age, and background)
• Professional Promise (potential for success as a professional counselor, vision and passion for field, unique interests within ministry of counseling)
• Graduate Assistantship: $2,200 per year. The student engages in professional development activities for a prescribed number of hours per week under the direct supervision and mentorship of FT faculty members.Amount/Description:
The following scholarship is awarded each spring for the upcoming academic year. The award is earned during the fall (50%) and spring semester (50%). The Teacher Education Graduate Committee is responsible for selecting the award recipients.To obtain the award the candidate must have passed all chapels attempted and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. The award amount depends on the candidate’s cumulative GPA as follows:
Cumulative GPA Award 3.9 – 4.0 $2,000 3.75 – 3.89 $1,750 3.5 – 3.74 $1,500 3.25 – 3.49 $1,250 3.0 – 3.24 $1,000 Contact the Financial Aid Office for more information.

Amount/Description:
The following scholarship is awarded during all semesters by the School of Christian Ministries. The scholarship amount is determined after review by the scholarship committee. All awards require the student to maintain full-time enrollment status (9 credits per term).• Graduate Intercultural Studies Scholarship: The amount of the award ranges up to $2,000 per academic year. To be eligible the student must have a 3.0 cumulative GPA, meet specific Christian service requirements, and identify financial need.

The International Christian Work Scholarship is typically awarded to an international student who resides outside the United States and who is pursuing an online MBA. The scholarship is intended for students who wouldn’t be able to attend Johnson University without this scholarship assistance.

Ph.D. in Leadership Studies Scholarship: The Ph.D. in Leadership Studies Program within the School of Business and Public Leadership at Johnson University is pleased to administer individual doctoral scholarships made possible by the generosity of brothers and sisters in Christ committed to the mission of Johnson University for the glory of God. Scholarships are competitive and limited in number. Applications are awarded on the basis of exhibition of leadership, scholarly potential, and financial need.
