Tier 3 Churches ($2,500 - $4,999 per year)

  • Students from a Tier 3 Partner church share 25% of that congregation’s annual support in the form of a scholarship.
  • Students must be taking traditional, full-time, on-campus undergraduate classes.
  • J.U. matches each student’s portion of that scholarship with various institutional aid.
  • In years where the church has no students attending, funds will continue building the Vanguard Church Student Fund (VCSF) endowment to supply any gaps in the Matching Scholarship benefit.
  • Free application ($35 fee waived) for prospective students from Vanguard Churches
  • 1 FREE registrations to the “PURSUE Conference” (regularly $50 each).
  • 2 FREE registrations to:
    • Spring Retreat (regularly $40 each)
    • Church Leadership Conference at JUTN or JUFL ($25 each)
    • Festival of Christmas Joy (TN) or Night of Noel (FL) banquet ($25 each)
  • 25% off 2 registrations to Senior Saints in the Smokies ($295 each) OR 2 DISCOUNTED registrations to Senior Saints on the Seas ($50 off each)
  • 10% off additional registrations to Senior Saints in the Smokies for VCP members (not applicable for Senior Saints on the Seas)
  • 25% off campus facility rental for youth retreats, conferences, or other events (based on availability, housing not included)
  • 10% off guest housing/RV site rates (as available, not to be used in conjunction with facility rentals or campus events that include housing)
  • 10% off tuition for one online course per year, per paid church staff member
  • Listing as a Tier 3 Vanguard Church on Johnson University’s website
