My favorite part about teaching at Johnson is: Relationships with students.

When I’m not teaching, I love to: Read and spend time with my family.

In my classes, students can expect: Conversations that push them to think.

My best advice to a new student in my program is: Ask a lot of questions and don’t be afraid to try new things.

Because of my influence, I most want my students to become: People who advocate for God’s message of reconciliation in their communities.

The myth-busting truth about my discipline I most want people to understand is: Loving English and pursing English as a discipline is about way more than just having good grammar 🙂

A quote that influences how I live is: “I am doing a great work and I cannot come down” (Nehemiah 6:3). When God calls us to do His work, we should do it, even if/when obstacles get in our way.
