Program Overview

The Pastoral Care and Counseling degree equips students to provide pastoral care, godly counsel, and effective leadership in pastoral ministry settings. Students will study counseling, biblical preaching and teaching, spiritual formation, interpersonal and family relationships, and conflict and communication. The degree includes a practicum.

Every undergraduate student pursuing a four-year degree at Johnson earns a double major – a major in Bible and Theology and a major of their choice, like Pastoral Care and Counseling. Click here to learn more about the Bible and Theology major.
