My favorite part about teaching at Johnson is: I love being part of our kingdom-minded vision and strategic mission, and we have great students who challenge me to be at my best in teaching and practice.

When I’m not teaching, I love to: Spend time with my wife and family. And I enjoy running, cycling, hiking and about anything outdoors!

In my classes, students can expect: Critical thinking and discussions about how to practice following Jesus – both in our being and in our doing.

My best advice to a new student in my program is: Take advantage of all the opportunities to study the Word, BUT also go get involved right now living it out.

Because of my influence, I most want my students to become: Followers of Jesus who share his love with every nation, tribe, and tongue!

The myth-busting truth about my discipline I most want people to understand is: God is on mission to redeem all His children into His Kingdom AND we all must be part of that mission.

A quote that influences how I live is: “Life is all about practicing for heaven.” – Richard Rohr
