The Ph.D. in Leadership Studies Program within the School of Business and Public Leadership at Johnson University is pleased to administer individual doctoral scholarships made possible by the generosity of brothers and sisters in Christ committed to the mission of Johnson University for the glory of God.
Description: Scholarships are competitive and limited in number. Applications are awarded on the basis of exhibition of leadership, scholarly potential, and financial need. The Ph.D. in Leadership Studies Scholarships Assessment Panel will make the final decision on awards based on the above criteria. Scholarships available include a limited number of recurring and one-time scholarships. In addition to the application process, the allocation of funds is based on availability in three general applicant categories: U.S. citizens, international students and non-U.S. residents, and all students regardless of national origin.
Eligibility: To be eligible for scholarships through this application, students must be intending to enroll in the Ph.D. in Leadership Studies program in the next available cohort and must have completed the Ph.D. in Leadership Studies application process. Scholarship awards are contingent on admission to the Ph.D. in Leadership Studies program and enrollment as a full-time student. Should a student choose to defer to a future cohort after admission and awarding of a scholarship, the student must reapply for scholarship consideration. Students awarded recurring scholarships must be enrolled as a full-time student and maintain a 3.5 GPA each semester.
Application Materials: Before you submit your application, please ensure that it is complete. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Please complete the form below and also upload copies of transcripts for all previous graduate work and a current curriculum vitae as one combined PDF file.
