My favorite part about teaching at Johnson is: Watching students grow in their knowledge and skills as teachers.

When I’m not teaching, I love to: Garden, crochet, and travel.

In my classes, students can expect: An engaged learning experience.

My best advice to a new student in my program is: Give it all you have; this isn’t an easy program but it is worth the time you’ll invest.

Because of my influence, I most want my students to become: Teachers who truly love their students and put their students’ needs above the number on a paycheck.

The myth-busting truth about my discipline I most want people to understand is: Teachers are highly intelligent and qualified people who invest much of who they are into their profession and into their students.

A quote that influences how I live is: It’s not about what you can DO for God that matters as much as who you are IN Him.
