Dissertation: A National Investigation of Pre-Activity Health Screening Procedures in Fitness Facilities: Perspectives from American College of Sports Medicine Certified Health Fitness Specialists

My favorite part about teaching at Johnson is: I have the opportunity to serve students while preparing them represent Christ as professionals in their respective area(s) of expertise.

When I’m not teaching, I love to: Garden, cook/bake, strength train, cycle, go to the beach, spend time with family.

In my classes, students can expect: To be challenged to become the most excellent versions of themselves.

My best advice to a new student in my program is: Learning is a journey; let’s enjoy the process!

Because of my influence, I most want my students to become: Highly respected, successful professionals in the field whose lights shine bright for the glory of God.

The myth-busting truth about my discipline I most want people to understand is: There is no “one best exercise;” except the one(s) you will do!

A quote that influences how I live is: Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6).
