Fall 2021 sees the return of women’s soccer to JUFL!

Johnson Florida has had a women’s soccer team in the past, and this fall it will return with new head coach Chad Jagerson.

“I am very excited to be part of Johnson University and re-launching the women’s soccer program,” Jagerson says. “My goals for this season are simple: I want to get on the field and play soccer. I would like to play every game that we have scheduled and continue to improve each time we step on the field. I am so glad to be at JUFL to get the opportunity to coach these student-athletes in a Christian atmosphere and I want that atmosphere to be evident in everything this team does on and off the field.  I am looking for student-athletes who love the game of soccer and are willing to work hard and put in the time and effort it takes to become a collegiate soccer player.  JUFL women’s soccer is recruiting very hard for the fall 2021 season.  If you are looking to play, JUFL has a spot for you!”

Marvin Elliott, executive vice president at Johnson Florida, is also excited about the new team and the new students it will bring to JUFL. “As we seek to provide additional opportunities for our student-athletes at Johnson University Florida, I am thrilled to announce the return of women’s soccer,” he says. “Coach Jagerson is a great addition to our coaching staff, and I commend the work of athletic director Eliot Hernandez in bringing the sport back to active status.”
