Overview

It’s important that all print, digital, and merchandise pieces representing Johnson University follow the same brand guidelines and use the Johnson logos in the correct way. On these pages we have our official logos available for download, guidelines for how to use them (and how not to!), and details on how you can request customized versions of some of the logo options for your department or school.

LANDSCAPE

WHEN TO USE IT
• Whenever possible: this is the preferred logo type
• When a simple logo is required
• Whenever a space requires width to fill

HOW TO USE IT
• The way it is; don’t rotate it, change its colors, stretch it, or add borders.

NOTE:
• The navy version is the default version for both Tennessee and Florida. There is NOT an orange on white version or a white text on orange version.

CONDENSED

WHEN TO USE IT
• When the landscape logo is not suitable
• When there is not sufficient space for landscape

HOW TO USE IT

Athletic Logos Info

ROYALS

Only these logos are approved for use on marketing and merchandise. Do not change the colors (for instance, making the logo black and white) and do not use the lion head without the white outline.

FONTS

The athletic fonts are ____. These fonts should only be used for athletics and not for general Johnson University marketing. See the “Logos” tab for the Johnson University approved fonts.

SUNS

Use the two-color version on white backgrounds. On color backgrounds, the one-color version of the logo should ALWAYS be orange. It is also permissible to use the black or the white version if needed.

SUBMARKS AND SECONDARY ELEMENTS

The Sun submark should always be orange unless it’s necessary to do black or white.

The secondary elements should not be used in place of the primary logo. The secondary elements are to support overall branding primarily through apparel and merchandise.

SPECIFIC SPORTS

The logos below should be used for specific sports. If additional sports are added, please contact the Communications office to have a new logo made for that sport.

FONTS

The JUFL athletic font is Gotham. The font for the logo itself was created for the design and should only be used in that context.
