Overview

The Urban Studies Major equips students to effectively work in a variety of local and global urban contexts. The program equips students to embody and announce the gospel of Jesus Christ in urban contexts by introducing them to social, political, and cultural structures that influence urban environments.  Students combine the Intercultural Studies Core and an Urban Studies curriculum, with a rigorous emphasis on experiential learning, to prepare for missional witness and city transformation.
