Students who successfully complete the program may pursue graduate studies in the field or choose from a variety of career paths, including employment as community health educators, public health environmentalists, worksite health promotion directors, pharmaceutical representatives, health and wellness instructors, and nursing home activities directors. The program also prepares graduates to seek designation as a Certified Health Education Specialist by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing.
