This program equips students to guide young people into lifelong habits of wellness. It includes general education courses and professional studies in child psychology, educational philosophy, and specialized teaching methodologies. The program also includes coursework designed to qualify students for eight different professional certifications from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), and the Association of Church Sports and Recreation Ministers (CSRM).
