October 2012 Posts

In September, the entire student body took one day and worked for individuals and nonprofit organizations in and around Knoxville, Tennessee, as part of the annual community service event known as K12.

When we tell our stories well, God receives glory and His Kingdom is extended. We are launching a new alumni blog featuring the stories of people who live their stories well. Read alumni stories and email your story or video today.

“Let the Redeemed of the Lord Tell Their Story,” the student theme taken from Psalm 107, is resonating among Johnson students.

Our dorms are nearly full. We have a record 954 students enrolled. Through the Prepare the Way initiative we’ve encouraged friends and alumni to pray for more laborers and encourage those God has gifted for ministry to consider God’s call. It is a blessing to see God working in the lives of students coming to Johnson.

Scott Sutherland (’86, ‘06) will be on campus October 9-November 16 as the Eubanks Fellow. He is the senior minister at Forum Christian Church, Columbia, Missouri.
