The Johnson University community and distinguished guests gathered to celebrate the outstanding accomplishments of several Templar School of Education alumni.
On April 28, Financial Planning Ministry (FPM) presented its Excellence in Stewardship Award to Johnson University. FPM president Mike Prior said, “We selected Johnson University for this award because they have been a leader in Christian stewardship for many years, especially in the area of planned giving."
This year, Johnson University Tennessee students gave $9,855 to help extend the kingdom of God in Ethiopia. This offering, which far exceeded those in recent years, resulted from students focusing primary attention on giving as a worshipful response to God.
A record number of students and Johnson University’s first cohort of Ph.D. students walked the stage at graduation on Saturday.
