He graduated from Johnson University in 2010 with a B.S. in Missions and from East Tennessee State University in 2018 with an M.A. in Sport Management.
During his years leading the men’s baseball team, the team has been ranked nationally in several NCCAA Top 25 offensive and defensive categories. He’s coached two All-American players, one Mid-East Region Player of the year, and one Mid-East Pitcher of the Year. The team was also runner-up in the 2016 Mid-East Region Tournament.
“I am extremely thankful for Dr. Smith, Brandon Perry, and the committee for giving me the opportunity to take this role,” Fair said. “I am excited for the future of our athletic department and our student athletes. In my 13 years at Johnson, both as a student and staff member, I’ve seen firsthand the tremendous growth of this great institution. I am passionate about seeing our students deepen their faith, excel academically, and be successful as athletes.”
