Johnson Spotlight: Donna O'Brien

Johnson Spotlight is posted every Wednesday and seeks share the stories of the hardworking people who do so much behind the scenes at Johnson University Tennessee for our students, alumni, and friends.

We are pleased to introduce Donna O'Brien as today's Johnson Spotlight! Donna is the Print and Graphics Coordinator and Yearbook Adviser and has been with us for 10 years. We are thrilled to share a little bit about her, so take a moment to get to know her through her responses below:

What is one interesting fact about yourself?Donna Obrien

I grew up on a farm and used to show pigs at the 4-H fair in southern Indiana.

What are your hobbies?

I love spending time with our grandchildren. Since they all live out of state, I am on the road to Kentucky and Indiana a lot! Not sure that qualifies as a hobby, but it’s something I enjoy. I also like working in the yard, so long as it’s not too hot!

What is your favorite color?

What is your favorite quote/scripture?

2 Corinthians 1:3-4 – “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.” I have experienced this truth in my life over and over and continue to be able to encourage others because of what God has done in my life, especially through difficult times.

Thanks for taking time to share with us, Donna. We encourage you to say "hello" if you see Donna out and about!
