The faculty of Johnson University Florida participate in many activities beyond their normal teaching responsibilities, including writing, speaking, presenting at academic meetings, mission trips, and community involvement. The list below describes faculty activities in September and October 2017.
(Assistant Professor of Social & Behavioral Sciences) attended the 125th American Psychological Association convention in Washington, D.C. as an international psychology ambassador. While she was there, she worked with the president of the Lithuanian psychological society, Dr. Neringa Grigutyte. On August 19, she successfully defended her dissertation, and she formally graduated on October 27.
(Assistant Professor of Old Testament) published an article on “Gunkel, Hermann” in The Dictionary of the Bible and Ancient Media
, which was edited by Tom Thatcher, Chris Keith, Raymond F. Person, Jr., and Elsie R. Stern and published by Bloomsbury T. & T. Clark.
(Assistant Professor of Theology) published an essay on “Way(s) to God: William Desmond’s Theological Philosophy” with D. Stephen Long in William Desmond and Theology, edited by Christopher Ben Simpson and Brendan Thomas Sammon (Notre Dame, IN: University of Notre Dame, 2017), 139-64.
