Johnson University Florida is excited to welcome one more new faculty member! Dr. Aaron Keese joins us as the new associate professor and program director for sport and fitness leadership on the Florida campus.
Dr. Keese has 18 years of professional experience across various settings as a health/fitness professional. She began in a clinical setting, then worked in university recreation, corporate fitness and health/wellness at MacDill Air Force Base. During her tenure at the University of South Florida, Dr. Keese taught as an adjunct professor and began teaching professional development courses in the undergraduate exercise science program throughout her doctoral coursework. She most recently transitioned to Johnson University from Technogym® - The Wellness Company where she consulted in development of fitness/recreation centers and well-being programs and services for universities across the nation.
Dr. Keese is a certified exercise physiologist (ACSM) and personal trainer (NSCA). She earned her B.S. and M.S. at Southeast Missouri State University in 1999 and 2001, respectively. She earned her Ph.D. in 2014 from the University of South Florida.
