Mass Communication (AA/AS)
The two-year Associate of Arts and Associate of Science in Mass Communication is designed to provide foundational instruction to undergraduate students in the field of Mass Communication. Completion of the degree would afford graduates the opportunity to obtain entry-level employment in strategic locations or pursue a bachelor’s degree.
Students will benefit from Johnson’s accreditation, affordable tuition, and an experienced and engaged faculty dedicated to the spiritual formation and professional preparedness of each student.
When students complete this program, they will be able to do the following:

Produce well-written, error-free stories, conduct interviews, and produce digitally enhanced material.

Work with hardware and software associated with the capture and editing of video.

Produce news and information content in a variety of forms and understand successful news delivery methods.
