Students at Johnson University’s Residency sites are part of a true campus community with the conveniences and credentials of an accredited institution embedded in local churches and communities. Faculty and staff care about each student personally, spiritually, and academically. Students support one another and form lifelong friendships based on a common goal of impacting the world for Christ.
Residency Campus Student Resources
Once enrolled, each student is assigned an academic advisor to provide information, counsel, discipline, and coaching along his/her journey. Advisors also look after the well-being of students under their care.
Students’ first online class through Johnson University Residency includes an orientation course to introduce the online classroom platform (Sakai), other University resources, scheduling, study habits, etc. Whether students are fully computer literate or a little nervous about technology, the orientation process will teach them all they need to know.
The Residency experience offers ample opportunities for students to connect with faculty and with each other. In addition, Johnson University Tennessee chapel services and Johnson University Florida chapel services can be viewed online either live via Livestream or on demand.
