Inauguration Delegates

We welcome delegates who will serve as designated representatives of their institutions and organizations. Please complete this RSVP by August 31, 2018, so we can plan for you, and scroll down for details about the day. Regalia

Delegates participating in the academic procession are requested to bring their own regalia.

Reporting for the ceremony

The inauguration ceremony will take place in the Phillips-Welshimer Building on the University's campus in Knoxville, Tennessee.  Delegates should arrive no later than 2:15 p.m. and report to the RPC 155 (in the Phillips-Welshimer Building). Presidential Ambassadors (JU student leaders) will be at the entrance of the PW building to direct you to the RPC 155. Lineup for the procession will begin at 2:45 p.m. The inauguration ceremony will start promptly at 3 p.m.

Reserved seating will be provided for delegates and guests who are not participating in the academic procession.

Parking

There will be designated parking on campus for our delegates and we will mail you a parking pass; please place it on your front dashboard as you arrive for the ceremony. Signage and parking attendants will guide you to the designated area.
