Johnson University Business AdministrationThe Business Administration Major equips students to serve as business leaders in for profit, nonprofit, and public sector settings. Students develop knowledge and skills in management, finance and accounting, human resource management, communications and marketing, organizational behavior, business law, organizational strategy and policy, and economics. Students also pursue a concentration in Management, Marketing, or Sport Management. The program incorporates biblical wisdom and missional concerns to develop Christian character and a kingdom perspective. 

The Business Administration program offers affordable tuition from an accredited university. In addition, exceptional faculty are Christian practitioners and experts in their respective fields. They are passionate about inspiring and equipping Christian leaders to grow personally, academically, and spiritually.

This professional major is offered on the Tennessee campus for traditional resident students. The business courses are offered on-ground in a traditional semester format.

The School of Business & Public Leadership offers several degrees in Business Administration, Nonprofit Administration, and Leadership Studies. These programs challenge and equip Christian leaders to use their talents innovatively and ethically to form vibrant workplaces and communities. 

When students complete the Business Administration program, they will be able to do the following:

  • Articulate biblical, theological, philosophical, and ethical foundations for organizational operations and leadership.
  • Understand the core management concepts of strategic planning and decision-making, organizational development, marketing, human resource management, and the economic and financial realities of organizational administration.
  • Demonstrate competency in organizational operations, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Integrate biblical wisdom with leadership.
  • Demonstrate Christian character in exercising leadership.
